Executive Director & Co-Founder
KC McLean is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Integrate Play, where she brings together her love of sport, community-building, and cross-cultural connection.
With decades of experience in coaching, athletics, and working alongside children and youth, KC is passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, confident, and encouraged to move. She believes deeply that every body is an athletic body, and that sport should be joyful, inclusive, and empowering — especially for children and youth who may not see themselves reflected in traditional sports spaces.
KC has lived and worked across Eastern Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, the Caribbean, and Canada and the United States. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of starting again in new communities, she brings empathy, warmth, and a strong sense of belonging to everything she does at Integrate Play.
Her background includes extensive work in international development, humanitarian assistance, and social services, particularly with vulnerable and newcomer populations. This experience shapes Integrate Play’s trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach and its strong emphasis on relationship, dignity, and inclusion.
At the heart of KC’s leadership is a genuine belief in young people — their resilience, potential, and ability to thrive when given the right support. She is especially passionate about empowering girls through sport and creating safe, body-positive environments where confidence can grow.
When she’s not at the gym or on the field, KC can usually be found cheering on nephews and nieces, hanging out with her foster kids, or finding creative ways to build community through play.

Director
Elvin is a Board Member and coach at Integrate Play, bringing years of experience in community-based sports development across rugby and soccer. He has coached across all age groups—from young children taking their first steps into sport to adult teams—both on the field and behind the scenes. Much of Elvin’s work has focused on technical coaching, game analysis, and identifying player strengths and areas for growth, with the aim of supporting the holistic development of each individual.
Elvin is deeply passionate about making sport accessible to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate due to financial or economic constraints. He strongly believes that every child deserves the chance to play, learn, and grow through sport.
A strong advocate for the power of sport, Elvin views athletics as a positive and purposeful outlet for young people—helping build discipline, confidence, and community, while keeping them engaged and away from societal challenges that may derail them from achieving their goals and discovering their purpose in life.
When not coaching, Elvin can often be found planning community initiatives and events that bring people together for a good cause, reinforcing his commitment to inclusion, connection, and positive change through sport.
